12/2/2011 Progress Report
We presented on Indie Game Development at Anime Banzai in Layton, UT again this year in October. We had a good crowd who laughed at all our bad jokes.
This week, we showed Siphon Spirit at the Utah Indie Game Night event at Wahoo/Ninja Bee Studios in Orem, UT. Got a lot of encouragement, and even though completion is taking much longer than we hoped, we are more driven than ever.
New animations have gone in for the main character and the map nodes. A new first area map was added. Finalization on story elements has taken a top seat in priorities. Menu art has reached a near-complete level of polish.

8/4/2011 Progress Report
Peter's working hard on getting the story in the game as well as all the rest of the levels and the art.
While waiting, Curtis has gone off to work on a more simplistic game for the Xbox360 called March to the Moon.
It's a top-down shooter with RPG elements and a sense of humor.  We got the following comments when showing it at the most recent Indie Game Night.
"Even in its early stages the fun and humor come shining through." -Greg Squire (about March to the Moon)

"Curtis Mirci had a very amusing little action game that played with a couple of RPG tropes called March to the Moon that involved killing a horde of rats in the basement of a tavern (for level one), leveling up, and some laugh-out-loud crazy fight set-ups. While the game is far from complete or polished, it was clearly fun and entertaining even in the current build." -Jay Barnson (Rampant Games) (about March to the Moon)
